Working together to support wāhine, tamariki, and whānau

We regularly work with partner agencies and our community.

If you’re supporting someone who may be experiencing family violence, we’re here to help.

Referrals

You don’t need to have all the answers.

We can help you talk through what’s happening and figure out

the next safe step

We accept referrals from:

  • Health professionals and kaiako (teachers)

  • Friends and whanau

  • Oranga Tamariki

  • Police and legal teams

  • Iwi, hapū, and Pacific providers

  • Community and workplace wellbeing teams

How to refer:

  • Phone: 07 886 5553 (weekdays, 9am–4:30pm)

We always speak with the person being referred before any

support begins.

Their mana motuhake (self-determination) is respected at every stage.

Working with

Your Team

We can offer:

  • Short training for frontline kaimahi and teams

  • Written resources and guides

  • Advice on complex cases or safety planning

  • Collaboration on kaupapa Māori and Pacific-focused initiatives

  • Support for employers on compliance with their obligations under the Family Violence Act 2018 and providing support to employees affected by family violence.
