Wāhine Safety Centre

South Waikato & Matamata

Support when you need it most.

If you feel unsafe or unsure about what’s happening at home—we’re here for you.

You don’t need to have left. You don’t need police involvement.

If something doesn’t feel right, that’s enough. Reach out.

Are you safe right now?

Call the Police on 111 if you are unsafe.

If you’re in danger or scared, call us any time—day or night.

  • 07 886 5553

  • Help you make a safety plan

  • Support your next step, if and when you're ready

  • Support to stay in your home safely

  • Help with legal protections (e.g. Protection Orders)
